Omnipreneur Tycoon · Season 1

The survival
guide

Every week the City slides an envelope under your door. Some are easy, some are ridiculous, and one is meant for exactly one person. Here is how not to get eaten, and how to make money while you play.

Rule zero

Losing costs you nothing

No envelope ever asks you to pay, bet or put OCX at risk. If you miss one, you lose nothing and the next one opens on schedule. The City will mess with you. It will never take your money to do it.

How a week works

Open, play, check, win

  1. Open. A new envelope opens every 7 days on the Currency Coach page. You see the goal, the twist, how hard it is and what it pays.
  2. Play. Do it for real: host the event, rent the seats, bring the people. The City only counts what actually happened in Omniverse that week.
  3. Check. When you think you’ve done it, press Check my envelope. If you’re short, it tells you exactly how far, so you know what’s left. Check as often as you like.
  4. Win. You get the OCX prize, a numbered collectible in your vault, and points on the Tycoon board. Some envelopes are reviewed by the City instead; winners are announced in the boardroom results.
Difficulty and rarity

The harder it is, the rarer it gets

Brass
Warm-ups. Most players who show up will win one.

Silver
You have to actually run your business this week.

Gold
Something in the envelope is lying to you, or you need someone else to say yes.

Black
Hard on purpose. Clock, chaos or both.
15,000 OCX3,000
Mythic
One owner, ever. When it’s gone, it’s gone.

Every collectible is numbered in the order people won it, like “#2 of 3”. A Gold that only three people ever won stays rare forever. The Mythic has one serial number: #1 of 1.

The twists

How the City messes with you

Collectibles and keys

Your secret sauce, sealed

Every collectible holds a key. The key opens the top 3 tactics that got the winner over the top, pulled from their real results that week: the event that filled, the seats they rented, the move nobody saw coming. The winner can add one line in their own words.

Before you buy a key, look at the serial number and the rarity. A key to a Black Dossier was earned the hard way.

The Tycoon board

Only real results count

The board counts what the City can see: envelopes you win, cinematic seats sold at events you host (2 points each) and hours other members rent your seats (1 point each). Typing big numbers into the Currency Coach shows you a projection. It never moves you up the board.

Want to play quietly? Tick “Keep me off the public Tycoon board” on the Currency Coach. You still see your own rank.

The money game

Your seats are your business

Omniverse is the only pixel streaming provider in the world with an unlimited option and a way to earn back OCX to offset your streaming costs.

A seat is one cinematic stream you own, unlimited, all month. What you do with it decides whether you make money.

Ten rules for staying alive

Survival rules

  1. Read the whole envelope, then read it again. Then read the fine print.
  2. Check early. The City tells you exactly how close you are.
  3. Book big events 30 days ahead. Extra cinematic streams come in groups, and late planners stream in WebGPU.
  4. Charge for cinematic, at least $22 a seat per session. Then every extra guest pays their own way.
  5. Play for a full house. Empty seat hours earn nothing; rented ones earn OCX and board points. Fill member seats with Omnipreneurs.
  6. Make friends in other districts. Some envelopes care where your people live.
  7. Your Fortnite island is a funnel. Send players to your portal.
  8. Don’t sell your best key too cheap. Rarity is the whole point.
  9. Buying someone’s key is research, not cheating. Doing what they did better is how you win.
  10. Only one person gets the Mythic. Plan for it from week one.
Who can play

Your seat at the table

Everyone can read the envelopes and the board. Winning envelopes and the full Currency Coach are for Omnipreneur members and up. Explorer and Omnifolk members see a preview of the coach with their own numbers.

Prizes are paid in OCX, the City’s currency. OCX can be spent anywhere in the City but can’t be cashed out. Prizes, rules and the season schedule can change between seasons.
