Privacy Policy

This policy covers Omniverse City, Omniverse Portals, SellSMART and Lexi, run by SellSMART Not Hard LLC, dba The Omniverse City ("we"). Questions or requests go to info@theomniverse.city. We don't sell personal information.

We use one sign-in cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To run the platform: your passport, journey, places, quests, OCX, pages, shop, SellSMART and support.
- To process payments, commissions, rentals and payouts, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To personalise your path. Lexi uses your journey, roles and finished quests to suggest your next step.
- To send account emails, such as sign-in codes, receipts and important changes. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and you can opt out any time.
Public by design
Some things are meant to be seen: your published pages, your player page, listings you resell, venues you rent out, and your name on events you host. Your journey badge and Key Tags may appear on your player page if you choose to show them.
AI
When you use Lexi or other AI features, the text or speech needed for the answer is sent to our AI and voice providers. Under our agreements it isn't used to train their models. Lexi is always labelled as AI, and she never sends, pays or deletes anything on her own.
Contacts you hold in SellSMART
For people you add to SellSMART, you're the controller and we're your processor. We store and process them only to run your workspace. We never sell them, share them with other customers, or contact them ourselves. Contact lookups send what you paste to a licensed business-data provider. Nothing is saved until you choose to save it.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the platform, under contract and only for that purpose: hosting and databases, payments (Stripe), email delivery, AI and voice, video rooms, and business-data lookups. When you buy from or resell for another member, they see what they need to fulfil the order, such as your name and what you bought. We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect people's safety.
Children
Accounts that buy, sell or hold OCX are for adults (18+). Young people can use learning portals that allow them, only after a parent or guardian gives verified consent by email and a small card check. For minors we keep only a first name, age range and progress. Minors can't spend, and they get no social handles. A parent can ask us to delete their child's data at any time.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your data while your account is open. You can export your SellSMART contacts and your content where the platform supports it. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires, such as payment and tax records. Places on hold after a journey lapses are kept so they can come back when you rejoin, unless you ask us to delete them.
Security
We use encryption in transit, signed payment confirmations, encrypted intake forms and logged admin actions. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. You can also object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. Email info@theomniverse.city with "Privacy request" in the subject, and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where the law requires it, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes
If we make important changes, we'll update the date at the top and tell account holders by email or in the app.
